Senate of Pennsylvania Congratulations

Whereas, The Senate of Pennsylvania is always pleased to recognize those exceptional businesses which stand the test of time and remain committed to high standards of service; and
Whereas, Hall's Ice Cream is being congratulated upon the momentous occasion of its sixtieth anniversary; and
Whereas, Opened by John Allen Hall and his wife, Sarah, in 1947, Hall's Ice Cream is currently operated by their son and daughter, Allen and Margaret Hall Raub. The ice cream parlor offers forty flavors of ice cream and approximately fifteen types of cheese, and it serves Perry, Juniata, Dauphin, Adams and Cumberland Counties. It also ships its products as far as Wisconsin. To its great credit, Hall's Ice Cream has employed generations of area residents, and it benefits local veterans through its annual Milkshake Day. It is to be commended for its continuing commitment to excellence, and it will offer its quality products for many years to come.
Now therefore, the Senate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania heartily congratulates Hall's Ice Cream upon this special milepost in its proud history; offers best wishes for every future growth and success;
